Holiday Kitchen

Planning your kitchen today for tomorrow.
It’s that time of year again where the holidays are upon us. As we plan for our gatherings with family & friends. Who is hosting the get together at their house this year? Wouldn’t it be nice to have the space & functionality in your kitchen for such an event? If next Christmas, or even for that summer party, this would be something you would like to see, than now is the time to start planning.
A new kitchen can take some time to get the way you want, & cannot be thrown together in a couple weeks. The process can take some time, based on coming up with a design & then executing the work. Smart planning will make this process so much easier. Allow at least 12 weeks from start of planning, to finish of kitchen install. Projects with more extensive work require more time. It is truly best to start putting together ideas & then consulting with a kitchen designer as much as 6 months before project is to be finished.

It is also best to sit down with a kitchen designer & come up with a plan before any construction work commences. Design your space around your new kitchen plan. Trying to fit a kitchen into a space after can leave you with a less than desirable layout. Don’t base your design on a generic layout that the person who designed the house plans came up with, as they do not spend time on kitchen layout.

It is beneficial to get some ideas together before you meet with a kitchen supplier. Search Google images, & Houzz.com for ideas of styles & colours you like, to help you be more prepared when you are looking at door samples. Cambria.com is another good source for seeing countertop colour samples. We also have these samples on site, for you to view when you are in our showroom. What you plan today will make a better end result
As you gather this holiday season, look around at your space in your kitchen & see if it is working for you. If it does not, & you are ready to change your space, than let us help you with your project. Next Christmas as you enjoy that meal or glass of wine you will be excited to share with others your home & the beautiful new kitchen that you now have.

To everyone near & far, have a wonderful holiday season, & thank you for all the blessings I have been given
